The Information Commissioner's Office is launching a "Guide to Data Protection Auditing" to help organisations that hold personal information and plan to undertake their own data protection compliance audits. The Information Commissioner has also just commissioned a study of the extent of compliance by UK websites with the Data Protection Act 1998.
