MAFF Milk Task Force recommends scrapping of milk quota and price support

A MAFF initiated Milk Task Force Report recommends that the milk quota and price support should be scrapped arguing that they have hampered improved efficiency and productivity. Removal will not take place for one or two years. The report includes many other recommendations including introduction of a benchmarking service.
