All commercial property rental growth is expected to slow to 2.5% in 2002 and 3.1% in 2003, down from an estimated 4.3% in 2001. The mild slowdown in the economy is expected to continue into the first half of 2002 before interest rate reductions taken this year boost activity, supporting demand for commercial premises.
