Proposals to be announced soon will prevent architects and quantity surveyors, advising NHS trusts on PFI projects, joining consortiums bidding for the schemes. This comes after claims that practices acting as advisers have an unfair advantage over their rivals. The industry is unclear over which practices would be barred and is requesting further information on which pieces of work would exclude certain professions.
