"Farmland Review 2002" recently published by Strutt & Parker shows that farmland prices will come under greater pressure as more land comes up for sale. Despite the foot and mouth crisis and several years of falling income, farmland has held its value largely due to good residential demand from non-farming investors and the decrease in the amount of land coming to market because of foot and mouth.
