FSB confronts Consignia

FSB confronts Consignia - 2002 - RICS Management Consultancy Faculty News 30 January 2002 (1) .

The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) has urged Consignia to reconsider its proposals to cease its traditional early morning delivery to residential addresses. As part of its latest cost cutting measures Consignia has proposed introducing a two-tier postal system, which is currently on trial in parts of south and west England. The new measures would mean that businesses run from residential addresses would have to wait until 1500 to receive their post. The FSB is concerned that these proposals, which could go nationwide within two years, will have a devasting affect on small UK businesses run from home.
