Government's move towards delivery of electronic and e-procurement services has gathered pace following two key developments. The Office of Government Commerce has announced the accreditation of its pilot e-tendering system, TenderTrust, as well as the award of seven contracts from its e-pilots programme. The pilot system will evaluate e-procurement techniques, including web-enabled marketplace solutions, and establish the e-toolkit appropriate for government departments.
