F & M continues to hit values
F & M continues to hit values
- 2002
- RICS Press Release 4 February 2002, (2) .
RICS Rural Market Survey is published and shows impact of foot and mouth disease on prices continuing. Land supplies are tight and prices remain high; the average price of farmland for the last three months of 2001 was £7 483 per hectare. Average values are now 15.8% up on the same period last year. Many chartered surveyors report a shortage of available land, an earlier expectation that more land would be available has not been realised. It is available on: http://www.rics.org/ricscms/bin/show?class=MarketSurvey&template=/includes/showmarketsurvey.html&id=14.
