eBay has struck a deal with Sothebys to rebuild and redesign the sothebys.com site which will connect its auction house and salerooms around the world plus associate dealers to eBay's 42m registered users. Sothebys will also adopt e-Bay's live auctions technology to enable real time bidding for a number of its auctions held in New York and London.
