The RICS housing market survey for England and Wales for three months to January 2002 shows house prices rises accelerating rapidly in January, a trend RICS members expect to continue for the next three months. Highlights include completed house sales as a percentage of available housing stock running highest for thirteen years. The overall market will continue to flourish according to over half of the survey contributors.
