New Land Registration Act

New Land Registration Act - 2002 - Geomatics World (10) January/February 2002, 6(1) .

The Land Registration Bill which should come into force as an Act of Parliament in 2003 will create a framework to allow the transfer and creation of interests in land by electronic means with the progressive introduction of electronic conveyancing and searching. Rules on adverse possession will see sweeping changes and first registration triggers will be extended. A new office of Adjudicator to HM Land Registry will also be created.
