"Iceland Foods plc v Dangoor and others" ChD 8 February 2002, where on a true construction of a rent review clause, it was held that time was not of the essence in relation to the service of a trigger notice by the lessors, Dangoor. They would only have lost their right to a review if they had 'neglected' to pursue the rent review procedure with reasonable despatch once that notice had been served. I's claim rejected.
