New style 'co-op' for north west

New style farmers co-operatives will be established in Cumbria and the north west as part of changes recommended by the Food and Farming Commission. These co-ops will help unite farmers and businesses, helping farmers to become more market-led and customer driven as well as helping to solve community problems.
