CA 15 January 2001. Application by tenant (T) against a LT decision determining the premium to be paid for the grant of a new extended lease under the Leasehold Reform Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 s48. Held that the LT correctly rejected the evidence of an expert witness who by leave of the LT was also acting as an advocate on the grounds that he had put forward his opinion not in his role of expert witness but as an advocate for the respondent, his daughter. Permission to appeal refused.
