A and T F Bennett v North West Water

A and T F Bennett v North West Water - 1996 - Rating & Valuation Reporter (1996) RVR 36(2), 30-35 .

LT 14 August 1995. B claimed compensation for depreciation of freehold value after N laid a larger sewer to replace an existing one. B`s claim was based on a reduced offer on purchase of the land by a developer after they realised `disruption and loss of plots caused by the drainage scheme through the site`, and that a further area of the land was undevelopable. "Held" claim dismissed as B failed to establish depreciation in value of their interest due to the new sewer.
