Reports on various projects underway to test the use of 'green' products in house construction, such as solar electric roof slates in Clapham Folly, near Bedford. Iwade, near Sittingbourne, is being used as an opportunity to monitor a whole range of eco-friendly construction products. Buildings and construction have been shown to be highly wasteful and polluting in terms of energy and toxicity, and ecological building matrerials can provide a healthy and natural alternative for domestic use.
