Review of function of the programme of works, which is intended to show the activities necessary to complete works in a contract, and will show the planned duration of each activity. Three possible uses of the programme are as a monitoring of progress aid, as a management tool and to establish a contractor's entitlement to an extension of time. Examines various different contracts in relation to such a programme and advises on the minimum obligations it should set out.
