The Construction Best Practice Programme is to be further funded up to March 2004. Set up in 1998 the programme aims to help the construction industry improve its business performance. It is part of the Rethinking Construction group of initiatives. The programme raised companies' turnover by a combined £132m and annual profits by a total of £71m.
