High street still hot spot

High street still hot spot - 2002 - Retail Week 15 March 2002, 29(1) .

A survey by GVA Grimley of multiple retailers' requirements reveals the high street as the top location for retailers with 78% of respondents stating they can gain most profit there. Shopping centres came second, with out-of-town locations third. Retailers' keycriteria for the next three to five years was identified as location, market size/demographics and overheads/profitability.
