"First Property Growth Parnership LP v Royal & Sun Alliance Property Services Ltd", ChD 8 March 2002. Defendant tenant (R) occupied offices under a 35-year lease. The landlord acquired the reversion of the lease but R disputed the validity of the notice contending it had to be given no later than 6 May 2000. Notice was declared invalid despite there being no date specified in the lease as the last date upon which a notice could be served.
