New era for offshore wind begins

Plans to build Britain's biggest offshore wind farm at Scroby Sands, have been given the go ahead by Minister for Energy, Brian Wilson. The development, some 2.5km off the coast of Great Yarmouth in Norfolk consists of up to 38 wind turbines and should provide enough green electricity fro 52 000 homes.
