Fire service and building design - 2002 - New Civil Engineer 18 April 2002, 11(1) .

Plans being considered by government advisors will see building designers forced to share information about new structures with fire chiefs. These proposals will allow the Building Disaster Assessment Group to discuss the structure and materials used while currently the only involvement of the fire service is to check building materials after a structure is built.
