According to Knight Frank's latest quarterly report, the M25 vacancy rate rose to 6.7% during the 1Q of 2002, its highest level since December 1995. Knight Frank believe the increase in availability has been driven by the supply of new space, which has grown by more than a third to 1.9m sq ft since the end of 2001.
