Early warning on climate change - 2002 - DEFRA News Release (165/02) 26 April 2002, (4) .

A new report on climate change scenarios by the UK Climate Impacts Programme (UKCIP) warns that climate change will be earlier and more pronounced than previously thought with some changes already irreversible. The report supersedes the 1998 climate scenarios and looks ahead into the 2080s, predicting warmer summers, wetter winters and rising sea-levels for the UK.
