Biogas in brownfield site-cause for concern?
Parker, A.
Biogas in brownfield site-cause for concern? - 2002 - Wastes Management April 2002, 60(1) .
Calls for guidelines from Department of Environment, Transport and the Regions to correlate methane concentrations and emission rates so that many brownfield sites presently blighted by 1991 information could be safely released for redevelopment. This would reduce use of greenfield sites by developers. Previous research was based on measurement of gas concentrations whereas recent developments can consider the rate at which biogas escapes from the site and possible into buildings. Table
