Summary of recent release of Part E of Building regulations, which aims to address problem of increasing sound insulation standards in homes. Proposals dictate that new constructions will have to provide significant improvements in sound insulation between adjacent properties in attempt to improve living environments. Suggests that Celcon Aircrete blocks developed after vigorous research and testing will provide adequate level of sound insulation without compromising thermal performance.
