Examination of the role of the Dispute Resolution Board (DRB), especially in disputes involving long term contracts. Analyses whether DRB involvement is necessary and worthwhile, and suggests various approaches to its integration, sets out procedure for using DRB and gives clear guidelines to its use. Concludes it is not necessarily an alternative to arbitration, but that it can limit number of disputes referred to legal proceedings.
