World Trade Center Report - 2002 - New Civil Engineer 9 May 2002, 5-11(7) .

Reflects on the report into the World Trade Center disaster. This was produced by the American Society of Civil Engineers for the Federal Emergency Management Agency. The conclusions are qualified but mention the possibility that new design tools could be developed to more accurately predict a whole building reponse to fire. Also reflects on the immediate causes of the collapse of the towers and new plans to make fire officers become a fully integrated part of the engineering teams that design and construct tall buildings.
