Minimum pay deal for apprentices

A new set of minimum rates of pay for apprentices have been decided by employers and unions under the terms of the Construction Industry Joint Council's national working rule agreement. The settlement is effective from 24 June. The new second year rate is £141.96 per week and the third year rate £200.07.
