Labour misleading public on rail

Labour misleading public on rail - 2002 - Building 267(8234) 17 May 2002, 12(1) .

A report by the Construction Industry Council (CIC) claims that government's 10-year transport plan is unrealistic and has misled the public by promising to solve the rail crisis. "Integrated transport and land-use planning" calls for a partnership for the railways with realistic objectives that all political parties can support, the fast-tracking of important infrastructure projects, and spatial planning.
