Commission unveils safety strategy

The European Commission has published its strategy for improving health and safety in the workplace over the next five years. "Adapting to change in work and society: a new Community strategy on health and safety at work 2002-2006" sets out eight objectives including the reduction of occupational accidents and illnesses, the prevention of social risks and the analysis of new and emerging risks.
