Fairs may need permission

Fairs may need permission - 2002 - Antiques Trade Gazette (1545) 29 June 2002, 1(1) .

The Campaign for the Protection of Rural England is campaigning to change the law regarding car boot sales, motorsport meets and clay pigeon shoots but the proposed changes will also affect antique fairs that are currently allowed to operate without planning permission. The DETR issued a consultation document of changes to the use classes order and temporary uses provision in January 2002 as part of its planning reform proposals.
