The Institute of Highway Incorporated Engineers (IHIE) has published new guidance on the planning and design of home zones, residential streets that aim to improve local quality of life by reducing traffic. The "Home zone design guidelines" offer practical advice to all parties involved in the planning, design and implementation of home zones.
