The latest figures from the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM) highlight the improved performance of local planning authorities. The biannual planning performance checklist shows that local planning authorities made on average 65% of planning decisions within eight weeks, with 27 planning authorities meeting government's 80% target.
