The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has published new guidance aimed at reducing risks of injury from using work equipment. "Using work equipment safely" (INDG229(rev1) ISBN 0 7176 2389 gives practical advice on how to select, use and maintain equipment including machinery and covers all situations where the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 applies.
