The British Property Federation (BPF) is investigating the charging practices of electricity suppliers following complaints from developers that costs of supplying power to schemes across the UK and London in particular are spiralling. Developers are angry at having to foot installation bills which ultimately benefit an entire area. Complaints have been filed by regulator Ofgem and then passed to consumer watchdog Energywatch.
