Following the publication of the Land Registry's consultation paper on e-conveyancing, article explains how the proposals will affect the property industry and encourages agents and surveyors to respond. Briefly discusses issues relating to the introduction of sellers' packs and access to the electronic conveyancing network, and questions how e-conveyancing will impact on practitioners' work. Concludes that the best e-conveyancing system will be one created with the full support of the property industry. Consultation deadline is 30 August 2002.
