Ethics Conduct Consumer Policy Committee has agreed policy on sentencing for RICS Disciplinary Boards and Panels. Comes into force September 2002. Consistency in treatment of Members appearing before Disciplinary and Appeal Boards will be ensured by informing them of sanctions which may be imposed for breach of RICS rules. Emphasises each case is different, and will be treated on own facts.
