Arrears and repossessions warning
- 2002
- Council of Mortgage Lenders Press Release 31 July 2002, (2) .
Council of Mortgage Lenders has warned that growing unemployment and slower house price increases are set to produce a rise in arrears and repossessions. This follows a six month period at beginning of 2002 when a combination of low unemployment and interest rates, and rising property prices, had produced favourable conditions for home-owners. www.cml.org.uk/servlet/dycon/zt-cml/cml/live/en/cml/press_releases_2002_0731
