21st century resource or a database too far?

21st century resource or a database too far? - 2002 - Estates Gazette (0230) 27 July 2002, 116-117(2) .

Describes the progress since 1999 of the National Land and Property Gazetteer which aims to become England and Wales's first national database of definitive property and address data. Only 142 of the 452 participating local authorities are linked to the NLPG at present. Progress has been slow due to the sheer scale of the project and the low priority placed on it by some local authorities. Data quality has been queried and NLPG will be publishing a full report addressing this issue.
