Presents a generic tool for the formal assessment of contractor performance based on data derived from experienced clients and architects. This approach to performance assessment should lead to improved relationships between members of the project coalition - architects, clients and contractors. Cost, time and quality were found to be the most important performance criteria but softer measures were also rated highly. Worked examples and references. [Taken from journal abstract].
