The Land Registry has published a consultation paper on new Land Registration Rules that support the Land Registration Act 2002. Proposals cover Land Registry forms, abolition of land and charge certificates and the supply of registered land information. The new rules and the Land Registration Act 2002 should come into force on 13 October 2003. Consultation deadline is 19 November 2002.
