A modern morality tale

A modern morality tale - 2002 - Estates Gazette (0237) 14 September 2002, 153(1) .

Discusses the case "Taylor v Hamer" [2002] in which the vendor's removal of flagstones from his property after the buyer's inspection raised issues of morality. Concludes that a vendor who removes fixtures before the contract of sale, but who covers up their removal on purpose, may be liable for the cost of restoration.
