Members of the RICS Rural Faculty heavily involved with livestock valuation have been sent details of DEFRA's appointed valuers scheme. RICS had a key role in drafting the terms and conditions for valuers seeking appointment to the list, ensured that only professionally qualified and indemnified individuals such as chartered surveyors would be considered.
