New research published by Donaldsons "Shopping centre index 2002" indicates that small shopping centres are currently offering up to double the returns of larger developments. Shopping centres of less than 75 000 sq ft achieved returns of 11.5% over the past year - over double the returns of the largest shopping centres at 5.5%.
