The final Land Registration Commencement Order is signed which extends the Land Register of Scotland to the remaining areas of Scotland not yet covered. These are the counties of Banaff, Moray, Ross and Cromarty, Caithness, Sutherland Orkney and Zetland. From April 2003 this will result in the title to all properties sold throughout Scotland to be registered in the Land Register and guaranteed by the state.
