PFI is regarded as a loss maker by nearly a quarter of Britain's top contractors according to a survey by PFI law firm Pinsent Curtis Biddle. 22% of firms expect to lose between £1m and £5m this year. More than two-thirds argued the government should draw up a compensation plan for failed bids.
