Considers further aspects of the decision in "Active Estates v Parness" [2002] (see WB3837-15 for previous article). Looks at the issues of vacant possession at the date of grant, the landlord's entitlement to an immediately enforceable contract upon serving notice not being negated by mere delay and the exercise of a contract by a notice signed by only one party being valid if the intial contract is in writing and signed by both parties.
