To improve the performance of the construction industry, the industry's contract conditions would have to be changed. Latham's report "Constructing the team", proposed fair principles for contract terms. A new report commissioned by the RICS Foundation, "Construction contract policy: do we mean what we say?" highlights that the construction industry still faces the old problems. This article reports on the RICS Foundation report that takes the format of a series of hypotheses and examines the respondents' reactions to them.
