Describes the plans for the redevelopment of the shopping centre in Milton Keynes by Hermes and Prudential. The plans are ambitions and include an expansion of existing retailers and the creation of larger units to attract new occupiers. Also there will be 60 000 new homes built doubling the population to around 500 000 by 20 years. If the plans are approved, building would start by winter 2003 with completion of the first phase scheduled for 2006.
